You can delete your Pezana account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how.

Option 1 — Delete from the app (fastest)

Open Pezana → ProfileDelete Account. Confirm the prompt. Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed within a few seconds.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app (lost device, uninstalled, etc.), email support@pezana.co from the email address linked to your account. Include:

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

  • Your login credentials (email, password)
  • All transactions you've recorded
  • All budget categories and wallet balances you've set
  • All notifications sent to you
  • Any receipt photos you've uploaded
  • Your profile picture
  • Device notification tokens

Important: Account deletion is permanent. Once your data is removed, we cannot recover it. If you sign up again with the same email, you'll start fresh with no history.

What data we retain (if any)

We do not retain any personal data after account deletion. Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (e.g., "1,234 users signed up in June") may remain in our analytics, but they contain nothing that can identify you individually.

Requesting deletion of specific data only

If you'd like to delete some of your data (e.g., a specific transaction or category) without deleting your whole account, you can do this directly in the app on the corresponding page (Transactions, Budget, etc.). Contact support@pezana.co if you need help.
